Our last cria of the 2007 season, another beautiful 4 x Get-of-Sire Derwydd Peruvian Inti-Sapa girl, and Pepita's third female cria! 3/4 Peruvian, true black with a small touch of white under her chin and half circles around her ankles. At eight months, Sofia sheared 4.7 lbs of solid true black fleece with bold crimp. Like all our Inti crias, Sofia has great conformation and a pleasant personality. She will be bred this spring. With 89 registered crias (53 Females, 36 Males) Sofia's sire Inti-Sapa is really proving his ability to stamp ouing fleece and COLOR - including dark silver grey - on his crias. His first daughter (white) sold at AOBA auction for $38,000! While Inti has many ribbons to show off, his progeny have won more: Inti had 4 Reserve Color Champion progeny at the 2007 Monterey Pronk: Reserve in Fawn Male (yearling), Reserve in Light Female (juvenile), Reserve in Light Male (2 yr old!). Fleece Reserve in Light (Age A) and Inti won 2nd Place in Get of Sire right behind Elite Maximus! Inti-Sapa's Sunrise won Fawn Color Champion in fleece at the 2006 AOBA Fiber to Fashion show and at the 2006 AlpacaFest West Fleece show! Two of Inti's female crias sold at 2008 AOBA Nationals for $21,000 and $13,000, respectively.
